Volunteers’ Week
Volunteers’ Week is coordinated annually by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.
The week focuses on celebrating the contribution made by millions of volunteers across the UK.
To support Volunteers’ Week on your site, you could do the following:
- Fund your operatives to carry out volunteering work in the local community;
- Allow time off work for operatives to complete volunteer work for charity;
- Allow opportunities for the local community to volunteer on your site, to increase their skills.
