Toolbox Talks on Razor Blades

In certain areas, individuals have been melting razor blades to traffic management signage and frames with the intention to harm individuals who handle them during their working activities.

An incident like this occurred near to one of our sites in Cumbria, however luckily no-one was hurt.

As a result, a toolbox talk was given to all our site operatives and a leaflet was handed out about razor blades being attached to traffic management signage.

We also receive safety alerts from Highways England which also help support and form the basis of some of our toolbox talks.
