In an ever changing world, where companies in all industries are increasing their focus on the environment and climate change, modernisation is key.
45% of paper printed in an office ends up in the bin. Our focus is to stop this. At 140 Wales Farm Road, we have introduced paperless systems throughout our processes, resulting in all on-site procedures going paperless.
An example of the processes are listed below, with further illustrations within the photo attached:
Going paperless provides an advantage to both the environment and the site team.
Not only is the cutting down of trees avoided, but the use of ink cartridges is reduced. This reduces our carbon footprint as ink cartridges require oil to be produced and electricity to function.
All information is stored on a central remote database. This can be accessed anywhere, anytime. This emanates a professional environment which is sought after in the ever changing construction field. The records stored within these databases are accurate and easily legible. Should a document or report need to be accessed/ reviewed, seconds rather than hours are spent trying to retrieve potentially urgent information.
