Support for Career Ready Mentoring and Work Placement Programme
Balfour Beatty are supporting the UK Career Ready programme and are in the third year of supporting the programme which runs in Moray, Scotland. The Career Ready programme is a commitment to providing young people with mentoring over a two year period and also involves supporting a four week summer work placement for participants.
In Moray, Balfour Beatty staff members are currently supporting a 5th year pupil from local Lossiemouth High School as part of support provided to the local community next to ongoing construction works on the new Lossiemouth High School project. The pupil supported during 2019-21 is the second student supported by Balfour Beatty in the area with the first mentored pupil progressing into a full time apprenticeship in summer 2019.
