Multilingual Online Safety Induction

The contractor has introduced a paperless multilingual online safety induction. The online induction is a video with embedded questions which the viewer should be capable of answering and obtaining the 80% pass mark. The video has subtitle options in Lithuanian, Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian.

Volunteers are made available to help with translation for the site specific induction. Anyone passing the induction will not be required to re-sit it within a three-month period, even if moving between the contractor’s projects.

The on-site induction has been replaced with a project reception briefing, which will be led by one of the project management team, and will encompass a 20-minute discussion on the on site behaviours, site-specific information, a check of competencies and safety-critical medical certificates.

Personnel will only be allowed on to site after successfully completing the pre-enrolment and induction process.
