This project consists of six buildings – ranging between 13 and 19 storeys tall – surrounded by extensive public realm works in Central London.

One of the challenges was to manage works at perimeter edge, as part of control measures they have implemented the use of Gripps Bolt Vault.

This creates an instant drop control environment around the wearer’s hand. The item is constructed from heavy-duty nylon and folds down to a standard glove size when not in use.

Two reinforced mesh windows allow you to see objects inside and two tactical nylon weave panels allow insertion of tools and objects.

Operatives were trained to use the equipment and Method Statement & Risk Assessment were updated.
