Litter Heroes

Litter Heroes have been identified to promote a clean working environment and report observations relating to waste management to the Environmental Team. The initiatives aim is to promote an awareness to their impact on the local environment and ensure they maintain their wider site area.

Staff representatives from every department make up the Litter Heroes network. The objective is to identify areas that need to be tidied or litter picking and then a team of staff can assist with the required works.

To improve a positive culture towards litter and maintain a clean working environment, they encourage all staff to take 5 minutes to clean there working area.

The litter picks are not limited to the site area, litter picks can be completed in adjacent community areas, parks or woodland areas.
