Smart Hoist

Smart Hoist is a software that has been retrofitted to this contractors hoists. It involves an artificial intelligence camera, two sets of wireless screens inside and outside the hoist car and an intelligent wireless call system.

The system is designed to bring three main benefits:

  • Improves safety on site e.g. PPE recognition, wind alerts, cctv inside hoist
  • Improves efficiency of hoist operator by 30%, reducing wait time for operatives
  • Gathers data for analysis of long-term trends

The system delivers real time alerts to site managers on safety and operational performance metrics, operation advice to the driver with intelligent prioritisation and a 24/7 security feed.

Each call is added to an algorithm that learns call patterns and suggests which floor to travel next, reducing wait times. The system formulates weekly usage and safety data and then sends this in a video delivered by an AI simulator that turns the data into recommendations.
