Supporting Adults with Learning Difficulties into the industry

This contractor is working with a supported employment agency to welcome two new members of the team with learning disabilities. They have a work coach to support them with their daily activities on the work placement.

There is significant evidence that there is an untapped market of unemployed people with additional learning needs or learning disability that want to enter the workforce, but do not have the skills or confidence to meet job descriptions.

Working alongside a supported employment agency they offered an administration assistant position and a cleaner on site supported by a work coach.
