Concrete Placing Boom

For the superstructure construction, the frame contractor opted for a Spider placing boom to pour concrete.

This choice enhances safety by reducing manual handling, as the boom is operated with a wireless controller, minimising the risk of slips and falls due to fewer pipes along the rebar, creating a clear walkway.

Moreover, it also brings cost benefits by reducing labour as only one operator is required for the boom, while three others can handle directing the hose, using the poker, and maintaining the slab level.

Additionally, the use of the boom minimises the need for remedial work, as there is no moving pipeline that could potentially damage the rebar.
