Collaboration to Promote the Safest Vehicle Journeys

As a CLOCS Champion and provider of construction logistics, this contractor is committed to their role in promoting the safest construction vehicle journeys.

One of the key roles of the Site Access Traffic Marshal (SATM) is to conduct construction vehicle safety checks for vehicles coming to site. The contractor, working in collaboration with CLOCS, have created a short video that walks through the process of explaining what is required and why.

The video was compiled with SATMs carrying out checks on a live site in order to promote understanding of both the role of the SATM and the CLOCS compliance checks that should be undertaken.

The video is a freely available resource and can be used as part of a toolbox talk or be incorporated into site training programmes.
