AI Workforce Tracker

The project team are currently are using a new AI system to track labour productivity levels on site. The system involves small tags being worn on the hard hats of all operatives and a number of sensors dotted around the site.

The system can then used to establish where time is being lost on the project. For instance, it was established that due to the lack of WiFi on site, time was being lost when operatives and supervisors needed to walk back to the office to access drawings.

This technique will help the project team establish issues on site, such as the example touched on above, which may have otherwise not have been raised to a main contractor level. The team are hoping that this technique could be rolled out within the industry to create a better working environment for the workforce and improve productivity levels.
