Volunteering with a Local Wildlife Trust

This contractor is volunteering on a monthly basis with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust to support their local traditional orchard restoration project, which enables them to directly ‘give back’ tangible benefit to the environment through their own volunteered time and collaborative efforts.

The easy way to contribute to enhancing the environment is financially or with planting, and while the contractor is also doing that, they feel that volunteering in their weekend downtime gives them a real sense of contributing to environmental enhancement as well as the opportunity to meet and volunteer alongside others in the community who are like minded.

It is a collaborative effort which is producing amazing results within the orchard.
