Funded Seasonal Fruit and Vegetable Project

This contractor has funded six schools and community in Sheffield for a nine month term time program teaching children and tenants how to grow seasonal fruit and vegetables.

This is seen as a powerful way to introduce the young people to biodiversity and environmental learning, whilst also growing their own food helps them understand the importance of sustainable practice.

Through this project they see first hand how natural resources like water, soil and sunlight contributes to food production which cuts down carbon emissions and packaging.
