Wall Gantry for Wall Construction

Used in the construction of the portal walls and similar to the slipforming concept, this initiative consists of a gantry crane attached to four shutters which allow the casting of two parallel walls simultaneously and the striking of the panels using the gantry instead of other lifting means.

This is run by hydraulic cylinders and rams at the top which allow vertical, horizontal and sideways movement of the panels. Once the wall is struck and panels moved away from the wall with the gantry, the gantry travels to the next wall position and the cycle starts again.

There are no requirements for lifting activities with the crane, whilst also reducing labour required for the wall construction activity as well as being a quicker method for striking and shuttering walls.
