Smart Tags for Lifting Operations

This contractor has implemented smart tags which ensure that lifting apparatus and equipment has been reviewed via different colour tags each month.

However, on a project with a vast array of lifting operations such as this, the system allows any of their delivery or safety teams, contractor staff and authorised persons to review each item in real-time.

Each tag comes with a smart chip which on holding your phone in close proximity takes you via a direct link to records of thorough examination and test information for that equipment.

This is a new way of tracking compliance around large projects as it is both visual and cloud based.
