Mechanics Trolley Seat

The project team incorporated the use of trolley seats on the project to provide a more ergonomic way of working whilst installing low level facade systems on the cantilevered scaffold on the East, South and West areas of the project.

The scaffold deck has been boarded meaning the working surface is flat and level leading to the safe use of these working trolleys which are being used to relieve stress on the operatives back and legs when installing.

The trolleys also include a tool tray beneath the seat to eliminate tools and equipment being left on the scaffold during the works.

The use of the trolley eliminated necessity for knee pads and reduced risks of manual handling.
