3D noise modelling

Mace have invested in CadnaA (Computer Aided Noise Abatement), a state of the art software to calculate, assess, predict and map environmental noise impacts in accordance with the BS5228 standard.

We use CadnaA as part of our proactive approach to minimising noise nuisance during site preparation and construction.

CadnaA supports our project planning to confirm noise mitigation measures will be effective and legally compliant, and aids communication on predicted noise levels with neighbours, site personnel, regulators and other stakeholders.

Colourful 3D and 2D noise maps are produced from the software to illustrate predicted noise impacts and identify the contribution from different pieces of plant and equipment to be used.
