4D Task Briefings

Once created, a 4D model has many uses such as interactive planning, animations for tenders or on project briefings, client communication and a visual aid to help inexperienced workers understand a construction sequence fully.

Having a sequenced 3D model and being able to use this to plan activities, provides more momentum in the room. The team are able to review the sequence and highlight/foresee any risks or clashes and provide time to mitigate these or suggest other ways of undertaking the works which may not have been thought of previously.

Benefits of this include:

  • Better planning.
  • Improved communication.
  • Better team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Overall view of any safety implications related to a particular activity.
  • Easier to visualise clashes of trades and schedule it better.
  • Plan in the room as many times as needed and get it done right first time.
  • Everyone is briefed in a virtual environment and able to watch the sequence.
