The 80 Charlotte Street Project team have built a good relationship with the London Jesus Centre (LJC) this year. In the past three months, we have collaborated with the LJC through making food donations and undertaking two separate maintenance jobs at the Centre, which is local to the site.
During the week commencing April 8th, Multiplex made the arrangements for Pacific Construction to rebuild a brand new deck on the ground floor terrace. Not only have the Pacific Construction team removed the old water damaged wooden deck, they have supplied the materials to rebuild a brand new space to be enjoyed by all guests and clients. Overall, the job took three days to complete with the timber being fully treated and painted to ensure longevity. Whilst removing the timber, the project team also removed various other bits of clutter and disregarded materials from the LJC.
The LJC have a strong reputation within the social care community for providing meaningful and necessary services to those who are in need. The main objective for the LJC is ‘restoring dignity and creating community.’ They offer friendship and help to those of all faiths. Their work reaches many people, including the homeless, refugees and the elderly. With this in mind, 80 Charlotte Street are very motivated to collaborate and support such a fantastic organisation.
