Accessibility Ramps

Access to offices and facilities should be provided for the mobility impaired, or alternative arrangements made.

Everyone should be able to easily and safely move around the site.

Examples of site accessibility provision include:

  • Concrete ramps were built within the site accommodation, leading to all cabins;
  • Ramps were built to allow access to site, main office and welfare facilities;
  • The walkways to the cabins were laid in temporary blacktop or double rows of paving slabs wide enough for a wheelchair.
