Air Conditioning Cassette Lifter

This contractor is using a new way of lifting air-conditioning cassettes into grid ceilings. The device is fitted to the drop rods which holds the cassette, followed by a wire and harness coming down which holds the unit. Lastly the operative attached their drill to the device to winch the unit up.

This removes the need for large heavy genie lifters for cassettes which can be difficult and obtrusive to move around the building and also prevents the risk of fitters lifting cassettes in an unsafe way.

The device is compact and when folded down it can be carried around by operatives as opposed to hiring in a standalone piece of equipment every time they want to lift cassettes which brings with it added Co2 in the distance travelled by the hire company.
