Analytics Software used to React to Safety Critical Incidents

Analytic software was introduced by the project to cut the time taken to react to safety critical incidents in live lanes with temporary traffic management arrangements in place.

The software analyses CCTV images to alert the two CCTV operators, who are manually monitoring 68 cameras, to any stationary vehicles, pedestrians or foreign objects and automatically operates signals and sends SMS messages.
