We have implemented GMR Safety cards on site, which have animations showing the requirements for plant and pedestrian segregation.

On a large site where we have up to 15 pieces of moving plant operating at any one time along with deliveries, it is important to segregate walkways from plant areas to reduce the risk of collision.

These cards show clear examples of how barriers should be setup around excavators, cranes and forklifts.

As they have more pictures and less words they help operatives understand without the need for translators.

It helps the user identify vehicle and plant hazards and implement the correct control measures.
