Following a project safety stand down at the beginning of the year, and regular drug and alcohol testing carried out on site, the team have engaged with the workforce on an anti-drug campaign.

A drugs and alcohol testing specialist has joined the site in carrying out regular testing and delivering presentations to the workforce in order to highlight the issues related to drug use and the impact they can have on health and livelihood.

The offer to the workforce is, if they approach the site management with a drug related issue, management will assist in facilitating their journey to become drug free.

The site has already experienced early in the campaign one operative in a safety critical role that has come forward and has successfully given up a daily habit. The operative is currently under regular testing and is able to continue their role.
