Art Meets Business to Deliver Wellbeing

The leisure transformation team delivered a ‘Go Social’ grant and business support programme for local social enterprises.

One of the successful applicants was Place To Wonder. The funding has been used to support the launch of the “Dream a Little Dream” book. “Dream a Little Dream” is a new children’s relaxation book that was created by Place to Wonder and uses storytelling and theatre in nature and is designed to lower anxiety and increase wellbeing.

Support included social media, digital advertising, Arts & Business membership, Mums at Work membership, marketing & design and a video for online promotion.

The team continues to champion Place to Wonder and their work through the contractors social media platforms, across the UK and Ireland through their network of private and public clients, consultants, supply teams and local business and stakeholders.

This included book donations to BITC’s Time to Read literacy programme. The team are in close contact and continue to provide purposeful support and mentorship from their in-house team of business specialists.

The success of the programme recently resulted in the partnership being receiving a Mental Health and Wellbeing Arts and Business NI Award 2021.
