Automated Temperature Checks and Sanitisation Tunnel

To help with reducing the spread of coronavirus and other viruses within the workplace the project has installed an automated temperature check and sanitiser tunnels at the main turnstiles.

All operatives accessing through the turnstiles have their temperature read by looking into a screen on the outside of the tunnel. If a high temperature above 37.8°c is identified the screen goes red and access into the tunnel and onto site is denied.

They then pass into a tunnel area where a dry mist/vapour is released and sprayed for 3-5 seconds, this vapour is non-toxic and neutralises viruses on clothes or exposed skin. The tunnel than displays a green light signalling for the operatives to move on into the office & welfare area.
