Beach replenished with sand

This redevelopment project includes a ferry terminal with a new pier, an increased marshalling area through reclaimed land and a modern terminal building, with bus stances and parking facilities.

For the last 5 years Brodick Bay has been an eyesore to the locals & public/tourists since commercial removal of sand was compounded by storms and coastal erosion to strip the shore away and expose landfill on the southern half of Brodick Bay.

However George Leslie Ltd have ensured that Brodick Bay on Arran will have a new beach this summer as a benefit to the community from our Brodick Ferry Terminal Project works we are currently undertaking.

Thousands of tonnes of sand, from dredging works we have been undertaking as part of our project, have been provided free of charge and used to replace the towns lost beach.
