BIM Walkthrough at Induction
On the Battersea Power Station Phase 3a project a BIM Model H&S Induction Site Walkthrough video has been developed with the BIM Team and is now included as part of the Induction process.
This has enhanced the delivery of the induction by giving a specific, current overview and familiarisation to those attending the induction and what they will expect to see in 3D prior to them going out onto site.
The virtual site walk through includes access routes and stairs, Fire and First Aid Points, PPE routes, Welfare areas, Tower Crane locations, Haki Stairs positions, etc.
This is being updated weekly to ensure that it reflects the current conditions on site so that it is an effective tool to complement the inductions on site.
