Biodegradable synthetic work gloves

Sites should look to recycle and re-use whenever possible.

It is important to reduce the demand on resources which include building materials as well as tools and equipment.

One site achieved this as shown in the below example:

  • Biodegradable synthetic work gloves, trailed in October 2015, are now used on site as policy;
  • These gloves can be disposed of in landfill and are fully degradable, reducing the impact on the environment.
