BIOGEL adhesive uses the Eco 5 Rating system which is a 5 point system adding environmental benefits to the product.

This is certified by SGS, who champion the improvement of the environmental performance of building materials.

This is a multi-purpose adhesive-gel for bonding all types of material, on all substrates, and for use in all conditions.

The Eco 5 system has many environmental benefits:

  • Recycled Mineral Content- 33% (Grey) or 61% (White) recycled material content
  • CO2 – Low CO2 use of 250g per 1kg of product
  • Indoor Air Quality – Very low VOC emissions
  • Recyclable – material can be fully recycled as inert materials
  • The product is readily used by the workforce on site.
  • This uses between 30-61% non-virgin aggregate (recycled materials)
  • Fire rated product
  • Superior adhesive performance than alternative products including after exposure to extremes in temperature and water ingress
  • Arrives to site in easily transportable bags (as opposed to bulky cans/bottles) this results in more efficient transport and waste disposal (less CO2 from transport)
