Bomb threat awareness

When hosting a demolition site in the heart of Westminster, London, there is unfortunately a heightened risk of a bomb threat.

To coincide with our ‘Terrorist Toolbox Talk’ that is already in place, we have now created various reading materials containing additional information about the risk of a bomb threat.

The Wooldridge Demolition Team have produced a ‘bomb threat leaflet’ that acts as a guide on how to handle a bomb threat in the workplace as well as providing information of where to go, what to do and who to call. An information station has been placed in the site office to allow workers to access the information and pick up a leaflet.

A ‘bomb threat procedure form’ is coupled with the leaflet for site workers to fill out in the event of a bomb threat. This particular form we have taken from the government website.

Putting these steps in place and making our site staff aware, has helped them to be prepared and confident to carry out their work at the city based site.
