This contractor implemented a breakaway hi-vis vest which has been introduced as mandatory for all machine operators.

This item pulls apart if caught on a moving part such as the controls, a door or similar.

This vest will help to prevent injuries and accidents caused by ‘caught’ clothing on machinery or moving parts and will help reduce injuries and accidents caused on construction sites and other industries such as farming, by getting caught on PPE.
