BSSU at QK Academy Careers Fair

The Your Future Careers Fair is a part of a government funded program aimed at students aged 14-24 in order to try and get them into work, showing them the alternate ways they can take their future and offering apprenticeships to those who choose to take them.

The BSSU project took part in this by attending QK Academy School and hosting a stall at their fair. We talked to many students of different years and informed them of what we had to offer and the kind of subjects that end up in our field.

As a part of the Your Future Careers Fair the BSSU project aimed to inspire, enthuse and motivate young people attending to think about their future career progression, the employment options available to them and how to make the most of their remaining time in education.

We received a thank you letter afterward from the British Chambers of Commerce also mentioning a warm thanks from the school itself, saying we were key to the success of the event and helped to open their students’ eyes to the opportunities presented around them.
