Building to Building Progress Boards

Keeping constant communication between the site and public helps promote a considerate and assuring relationship.

Being able to provide easily accessible information about the project’s developments and updates shows the local community is always kept in mind. It is important all those affected by the works feel they are involved and integrated within the project’s development, creating a culture where consideration matters.

Below is an example where community communication and integration was kept regular and easily accessible:

  • A “What are our neighbours up to” notice board was placed on each neighbouring building;
  • Each board explains the project, construction methodology and a weekly update on progress and interesting developments;
  • This provided a much more location dependant source for updates based on which building is closest and therefore the source of greatest impact, establishing a network of information throughout the area.
