Bump caps

Appropriate standards of PPE should be available to everyone on site.

PPE should be clean and well maintained and appropriate for the job.

Safety clothing can also be used to easily identify certain individuals, such as first aiders.

Below is an example of safety clothing introduced for workers in confined spaces:

  • A lightweight and practical alternative to hard hats (Bump caps) were provided for those undertaking light work in confined spaces;
  • These caps provide full head protection and include eye protection from above by means of a visor.
