Case Study: Supporting Best Practice in Remediating Occupied Buildings

Dr Jenny Preece from the University of Sheffield and the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence has produced a case study to bring to light the experiences of leaseholders living through remediation.

This case study also highlights areas where contractors, clients of construction and other parties, including building owners and managing agents, can play a proactive role to support leaseholders experiencing remediation.

While the study focused on the experience of leaseholders, it has wider relevance for all building residents.
