Cast-In Temporary Water Outlet

Prior to the site being fully weather tight, water can cause many issues when trying progress internal trades. With that in mind, we have tried to make water management a little easier by casting-in additional temporary water drains on the ground floor slab. Temporary drains are back filled once weather tight.

Benefits from this temporary solution include:

  • Good appearance.
  • Manual handling – water can be discharged without having to manhandle a wet-dry vacuum.
  • Environmental – less use of a wet-dry vacuum.
  • Cost effective – less labour required to clear up/ reduced risk of water damage.

This is a simple but effective solution to a common problem on building sites.
