Carillion Morgan Sindall (CMS) have began briefing all site operatives on the e-learning modules as part of CCS best practice.
The e-learning modules are being briefed using the Mission Room. The Mission Room is a 3 screen immersive technology tool which allows 360 HD videos to be played creating a virtual experience.
Our SHE advisor on site has taken the first e-learning module ‘Introduction to the Considerate Constructors Scheme’ and passed with 100%. From this they are now going site wide with the first e-learning module of six and briefing to all.
Mission Room is also being used to show 360 films of charitable projects that CMS have and continually contribute to. These films are then used as part of the e-learning module presentations.
This not only informs the site of what community work we have/are doing but also creates interest for future work and future volunteers.
The 360 films are also used to inform the surrounding local communities of charitable work being completed within different borough districts.
Due to the length of the site, it runs through 3 different borough councils (Stockport, Cheshire East and Manchester). The 360 video is an ideal tool to allow CMS to show others of the good work we are carrying out, that they may not be aware of.
