Celebrating Diversity by Celebrating Nationalities

At 48 Carey Street, Multiplex decided to demonstrate its commitment to respecting diversity by celebrating the national days of the home countries of everyone working on site. On that day, their country’s flag is flown in the canteen, and traditional food from that country is prepared. ‘Inclusion’ posters have been posted around the site, proudly displaying the site team that have all signed up to ensure everyone feels welcome and included, resulting in a happy site. At the bottom of this, is an invitation for everyone to recommend their own country’s national day.

On Wednesday 28th November the site celebrated Albania’s national day with a meal of white fish and rice, with their flag on display. On 30th November, it then celebrated St Andrew’s day in Scotland, so The Saltire (St Andrews Cross) flag was flown and Scottish cuisine was served. This will continue with the site celebrating Romania’s national day on December 1st.
