Child Safety Video

Engaging young people with site safety is best done through hands on interactive experiences.

The example below shows how one site achieved this:

  • The site challenged one of the adjacent primary schools to develop a means to engage the pupils with Site Safety;
  • The staff and students (6 and 7 year olds) of the school responded by producing an inspirational and humorous 5-minute video highlighting the dangers and hazards in and around the site;
  • The site received a ‘blue flash’ company award for its innovative approach to child safety matters.
