Child safety week participation

The relationship between Connect Plus Services and Tany’s Dell Community Primary School in Essex, has been extremely successful.

Since our Blunts Farm depot in Essex forged the relationship through our Adopt a School programme, members of the team have visited the school on several occasions, spending time with children across all classes.

Topics we have been involved in include a wildlife conservation, road, site and safety education as well as litter awareness.

Connect Plus Services has also attended Tany’s Dell Careers Week, with the presence of members of staff from a diverse range of backgrounds, including an Incident Support Unit operative.

Recently Connect Plus Services donated 60 child-sized high visibility waistcoats, which were co-branded with the safety message “Be Safe, Be Seen” printed on the back.

The school is making excellent use of these waistcoats on school trips, ensuring the children can be seen easily and a reminder for the children of how important safety is.
