Children’s Bilingual Stay Safe Book

A bi-lingual (Welsh/English) book for key stage 1 primary school children, was created highlighting the importance of staying away from construction sites.

The book uses two well known characters from the Sam a Ci series of Welsh language children’s books and introduces Griffiths Health and Safety Mascot Sally Safesteps.

The book can be used as part of a school reading curriculum (Years 1-3), with 2,000 copies being donated to 7 local primary schools & an intention to roll out more throughout Wales.

The book was officially launched at the Urdd Eisteddfod, Llanelwedd by Martin Geraint, a S4C children’s TV presenter & involving children playing the parts at a specially designed play.
