Clay Mat Spill Response Drain Covers
Morgan Sindall have purchased a new product to keep in the site’s spill kit bins.
Ecospill clay mats are temporary mouldable drain covers that can be deployed over drains and gullies in the event of a spill, to prevent the spread of pollution into the drainage system.
The mats have a built in polymer reinforcing layer, and are oil and chemical resistant.
They provide a 100% seal on the drain and will remain effective for up to 24 hours. They are easy to deploy and provide another system of protection, in addition to traditional spill kit contents.
