Clothes donation to open house homeless service

Martin House is a local male hostel, part of the Hightown Praetorian Churches Housing Association Group that provides temporary accommodation for single homeless men over the age of 25 with support needs, located in St. Albans City Centre, just 5 min walk from our project.

Following a quick chat with one of the local homeless people, our Senior Site Manager has decided to donate his unwanted clothes to the residents of Martin House.

We have contacted Trina Ward, who is one of the support workers, who has assisted us with our idea.

Our aim was to give these people an equal start in live, the same as we all have and to make them feel confident and not be discriminated when they go for job interviews.
