Co-operative Estate’s Portfolios, Programmes and Projects Delivery (P3D) team have just recruited their first three Junior Project Management Apprentices.
The Co-operative Group are offering Apprentices a programme which we believe will support their learning throughout the training course and support their future career.
We are investing in our Apprentices with a three year scheme instead of the two years currently offered with the Project Management Higher Apprenticeship. We believe this will show our commitment to the Apprentice’s development and careers.
Our Apprenticeship programme is built around utilising the skills and experiences we already have in-house – the Apprentices will be on rotating placements around all of our team, which means that on top of learning about Project Management, they will also gain a good understanding through exposure to Programme Management, Supply Chain, Governance, Risks and Issues, Cost Control and Health & Safety.
Each Apprentice will also spend some time with one of our partner companies which will help them to learn more about our industry, build their knowledge and grow their networks.
As well as classroom and ‘on the job’ learning, The Co-operative Group are committed to supporting personal development in order to ensure they recognise they are valued members of the team.
