Communicating good practice across sites

Sites should always strive to continuously improve their practices.

It is important that sites consistently exhibit good practice, which can be achieved by effectively communicating good methods, information, materials and equipment used.

Below is an example of how sites can share and learn from good practice:

  • An internal Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) interactive Good Practice Matrix was produced;
  • This was used to share information and tips from other sites, with hyperlinks to suppliers for specific items which could improve performance under CCS checklist items;
  • The matrix was updated with reports from each site to include tips and further information, lists of materials and products available, to help improve performance across the company.
