This initiative is for operatives of a multicultural workforce to sit down together and learn some basic language of other nationalities whilst on site. As it’s a very small site, these workmates need to be able to communicate well, and what better way to learn than as a group.

However this practice does not have to be restricted to small sites, it can be adapted to any site. It forms camaraderie and good working relationships. Also, it may help someone in the future, like in an emergency where communication and calmness is paramount!

There are so many positives to come from this and all that is spent is 20 minutes each day, learning whilst also having some fun. This is something positive that is simple, effective, helpful and possibly unique.
