Community Arts Project
This contractors community artworks initiative endeavours to sends a signal to the communities around the project that changes are taking place in their neighbourhood.
These artworks are of the community, and for the community so that they feel ownership and connection to their creations. 8 art projects are being delivered, led by local artists and delivered by local communities including young people, disability charities and members of the local community.
The projects have been designed to engage as much of the community as possible with 1,500 local people creating over 4,000 tiles for the mosaic projects alone.
The art projects will continue after the construction phase ends and continue to deliver creative opportunities for years to come.
