Community Safety Mirror

Fulham Reach has provided a new section of river walk for the benefit of the whole community. This is well used route by both pedestrians and cyclsists and has become busy due to the warm spring weather and continuing lockdown.

The Fulham Reach Team noticed a blind spot where a busy bike path/footpath intersects the river walk. This poses the risk of collisions between bicycles and pedestrians.

To reduce the risk of collisions and injury, St George has installed a safety mirror which assists vision from the river walk down the footpath and vice versa.

It also assists pedestrians maintain 2m social distancing when approaching the corner.
